§ 1551. Secondary student eligibility (a) A secondary student shall be enrolled in a program of part-time or full-time career technical education at a career technical center if he or she: (1) applies for the program; and (2) is accepted into the program by the career technical center. (b) A secondary student who is eligible to enroll in a career technical center, but who resides in a sending school district, and who so applies, shall be enrolled for academic education in the high school associated with the career technical center if: (1) the sending school district operates a high school but does not provide daily transportation at its expense to and from the career technical center; or (2) the sending school district does not operate a high school. (c) A secondary student who enrolls in a career technical center may enroll part-time in any school to which he or she would otherwise be entitled to enroll for full-time attendance.
