§ 2806. Severability
If any part or provision of this section or its application to any person or circumstances
is for any reason adjudged invalid or unconstitutional by a court of competent jurisdiction,
that judgment shall be limited in its effect to the facts involved in the controversy
in which that judgment shall have been rendered and shall not affect the validity
of the remainder of this section or its application to other persons and circumstances;
and the Legislature declares that it would have enacted this section without the invalid
part, provision, or application had that invalidity been apparent.
