§ 2028. Fraudulent violations of joint fiduciary accounts
(a) No person shall intentionally violate 8 V.S.A. § 14212(b) or (e) while acting as a fiduciary on a joint fiduciary account.
(b) A person who violates this section, or misappropriates funds of $500.00 or less in
violation of this section, shall be imprisoned not more than two years or fined not
more than $10,000.00, or both.
(c) A person who misappropriates funds of more than $500.00 in violation of this section,
or who is convicted of a second or subsequent violation of this section, shall be
imprisoned not more than 10 years or fined not more than $10,000.00, or both.
