Receiving value upon false statement

§ 2007. Receiving value upon false statement
Knowing that a false statement in writing has been made respecting the financial condition
or means or ability to pay of himself, herself, or other person in whom he or she
is financially interested or for whom he or she is acting, a person shall not procure,
upon the faith thereof, for the benefit of himself, herself, or such other person,
any of the things of benefit specified in section 2006 of this title.
