§ 12. Criminal use of anesthetics A person who administers, attempts to administer, or causes to be administered to a person, chloroform, sulphuric ether, or any anesthetic agent, with intent to commit a crime or offense, or who secretly commits or attempts to commit a crime or offense against a person or the property of one who is rendered insensible or unconscious or incapable of resistence by such anesthetic agent, shall be imprisoned for life or for not less than three years.
