§ 2690. Appointment of agent of creditor When an execution is delivered to an officer for service in a county other than that in which the creditor or his or her attorney of record resides, such creditor or such attorney shall endorse on the execution the name of a person in the county in which the execution is to be levied, to be the agent of the creditor for the purpose of receiving the money on such execution and for giving to or receiving from such officer necessary notices relating thereto. Notices given to such agent shall be as effectual as if given to the creditor.
