§ 2654. Management Municipal forests shall be managed under the direction of the Commissioner. The protection of such forests shall be under the town forest fire warden who shall be paid for his or her services in connection therewith by the town at the same rate as he or she is paid for fighting forest fires upon the approval of his or her account by the Commissioner.
