§ 2624. Marked timber sales (a) The Department of Forests, Parks and Recreation may provide marked timber to Vermont citizens for personal use at a reasonable price to be determined by the Secretary of Natural Resources. (b) The Commissioner of Forests, Parks and Recreation may establish a firewood-for-homes program. As part of this program, the Commissioner shall designate areas of State-owned lands, situated at various locations throughout the State, that will be available to members of the general public for harvesting firewood for purposes of heating their own homes.
