§ 1684. Conservation requirements
The General Assembly finds that water is a natural resource that should be managed
efficiently to reduce waste through promotion of water conservation. It shall be the
policy of the State to conserve the water resources of Vermont through technology,
methods, and procedures designed to promote efficient use of water; to consider water
conservation in all water use decisions; and to reduce or minimize the waste of water
through water supply management practices.
