(1) The division shall report quarterly to the board on: (a) grant applications received from eligible counties; (b) grant awards made to eligible counties; and (c) the division's progress in determining the relative needs of eligible counties, as described in Section 79-9-202. (2) Beginning January 1, 2027, the division and board shall provide an annual written report to the Revenue and Taxation Interim Committee and the Political Subdivisions Interim Committee no later than September 30, describing the division's efforts to implement the requirements of this chapter and any recommendations for legislative changes to the grant program described in this part.
