In consultation with the council and the consortium, the office shall: (1) provide strategic guidance regarding nuclear fuel recycling facility development in the state; (2) conduct preliminary assessments of nuclear fuel recycling facility development opportunities in the state; and (3) evaluate expressions of interest from private entities regarding nuclear fuel recycling facility development in the state.
