As used in this part:
(1) "Cohabitant abuse protective order" means an order issued by a court under this part after a
hearing on the petition for which the petitioner and respondent have been given notice.
(2) "Ex parte cohabitant abuse protective order" means an order issued under this part without
notice to the respondent.
(3) "No-fault cohabitant abuse protective order" means an order issued under this part by a court,
in accordance with Subsection 78B-7-603(4), without a finding by the court that the respondent
has committed, or will commit, domestic violence or abuse.
(4) "Protective order" means:
(a) a cohabitant abuse protective order;
(b) an ex parte cohabitant abuse protective order; or
(c) a no-fault cohabitant abuse protective order.
