Utah Code § 78B-3a-104

Residence of a business organization

For purposes of this chapter, the residence of a business organization is:
(1) the county where the business organization's principal place of business is located;
(2) the county where the business organization's registered office is located if the business
organization does not have a principal place of business in the state; or
(3) Salt Lake County if the business organization does not have a principal place of business or a
registered office in the state.
