(1) Terms defined in Sections 76-1-101.5 and 76-8-101 apply to this section. (2) An actor commits failure to aid a peace officer if, upon command by a peace officer identifiable or identified by the peace officer as such, the actor unreasonably fails or refuses to aid the peace officer in effecting an arrest or in preventing the commission of any offense by another person. (3) A violation of Subsection (2) is a class B misdemeanor.
