Prevention of Legislature or public servant from meeting or organizing

(1) Terms defined in Sections 76-1-101.5 and 76-8-101 apply to this section. (2) An actor commits prevention of Legislature or public servant from meeting or organizing if the actor intentionally and by force or fraud: (a) prevents the Legislature, either of the houses composing the Legislature, or any of the members of the Legislature, from meeting or organizing; or (b) prevents any other public servant from meeting or organizing to perform a lawful governmental function. (3) A violation of Subsection (2) is a third degree felony.
