(1) As used in this section, "ultimate fighting match" means the same as that term is defined in Section 76-9-112 . (2) In any prosecution for criminal homicide under Part 2, Criminal Homicide , or assault as that offense is described in Section 76-5-102 , it is no defense to the prosecution that the defendant was a party to any duel, mutual combat, or other consensual altercation if during the course of the duel, combat, or altercation: (a) any dangerous weapon was used; or (b) the defendant was engaged in an ultimate fighting match.
