(1) (a) The authority may create authorized advisory councils of interested persons for consultations with the authority. (b) The authority shall by resolution adopt policies governing authorized: (i) advisory councils; (ii) advisory council members; (iii) advisory council leadership; and (iv) topic areas of interest for each authorized advisory council that directly relate to the mission and objectives of the authority. (c) The authority may consult with an authorized advisory council and consider data, information, and input from the authorized advisory council relevant to the mission and objectives of the authority. (2) The authority may consult with a relevant watershed council created under Title 73, Chapter 10g, Part 3, Watershed Councils Act. Renumbered and Amended by Chapter 370, 2026 General Session
