Convention Center Reserves Restricted Account

(1) As used in this section, "convention center" means a convention center owned by a county of
the first class within a city of the first class.
(2) There is created within the Transportation Fund a restricted account known as the "Convention
Center Reserves Restricted Account."
(3) The account consists of:
(a) revenue transferred to the account in accordance with Subsection 72-2-124(4)(d); and
(b) amounts appropriated by the Legislature.
(4) Subject to appropriation, money in the account may be used:

(a) for revitalization of a convention center and surrounding revitalization projects related to the
convention center; or
(b) for securing the issuance of the debt of a county of the first class for a convention center in an
amount that does not exceed $1,600,000,000.
