Penalty for violation

(1) If an owner-operator or operator violates a provision of this chapter with respect to an
amusement ride, in accordance with Title 63G, Chapter 4, Administrative Procedures Act, the
director may:
(a) deny, suspend, or revoke, in whole or in part, the owner-operator's annual amusement ride
permit or multi-ride permit for the amusement ride; or
(b) impose fines or administrative penalties in accordance with rules made by the committee.
(2) Upon a violation of a provision of this chapter, the director may bring an action in a court with
jurisdiction under Title 78A, Judiciary and Judicial Administration, to enjoin the operation of an
amusement ride.
