Summaries of legislation

(1) As used in this section, "legislation" means a bill or resolution introduced for consideration by
the Legislature.
(2) A written summary associated with legislation that is prepared by a staff member of the Senate
or the House of Representatives, or by a staff office for the Legislature:
(a) is not part of the legislation, agreed to, or enacted by the Legislature; and
(b) is not evidence of legislative intent.
