Committee consideration of a proposal

(1) The proposing creating entity shall present the proposal to the committee in a public meeting.
(2) Before voting to approve or deny a proposal, the committee shall evaluate and verify whether
the proposal adequately addresses relevant objectives and requirements described in Part 3,
Specific Provisions.
(3) In considering a proposal, a committee may request any information from a creating entity
needed to make a determination about whether to approve or deny a proposal, or approve a
proposal with modifications, including a description of the proposed uses of funds and how
funds will be used to support public projects related to the regionally significant development
zone.
(4) The committee may:
(a) request changes to the proposal;
(b) vote to approve the proposal, with or without modifications to the proposal; or
(c) vote to deny the proposal.
(5) If the committee votes to approve the proposal, with or without modifications, the committee
shall:
(a) fulfill the requirements of Section 63N-3a-203; and
(b) establish any parameters described in Section 63N-3a-204.
