Annual reporting requirement to Legislature

(1) Before November 1 of each year, the commission shall report to the State Commission on
Criminal and Juvenile Justice created in Section 63M-7-201, the Law Enforcement and Criminal
Justice Interim Committee, and the Judiciary Interim Committee on:
(a) the number of complaints received;
(b) the general nature of the complaints;
(c) the number of complaints dismissed without an investigation;
(d) the number of complaints investigated;
(e) the general findings and outcomes of investigations; and
(f) the name of any prosecuting agency that refused, without reasonable cause, to cooperate in
an investigation by the commission.
(2) The commission may not include any personal identifying information regarding a prosecuting
attorney in a report described in Subsection (1).
