Remedies -- Civil action -- Attorney fees and costs

(1) A person aggrieved by a violation of this part may bring a civil action in a court with jurisdiction
under Title 78A, Judiciary and Judicial Administration.
(2) If the plaintiff establishes one or more violations of this part by a preponderance of the
evidence, the court:
(a) shall grant the plaintiff appropriate legal or equitable relief; and
(b) may award reasonable attorney fees and costs to the prevailing party.
