Penalty for unlawful conduct

(1)
(a) An individual commits a class A misdemeanor by violating:
(i) Section 58-55-503;
(ii) Section 58-55-504;
(iii) Subsections 58-55-601(1) through (7), (9), (10), and (12), (14)(e), or (21) through (24); or
(iv) failing to comply with a citation issued under this chapter.
(b) An individual who violates Subsection 58-55-601(8) may not receive or accept a contract to
perform work or act as a qualifier.
(2)
(a) An individual commits an infraction by violating Subsection 58-55-601(13).
(b) An individual commits theft under Section 76-6-404 if the individual violates Subsection
58-55-601(13) and intends to deprive the payee of money owed.
