(1) During each two-year license term the division establishes by rule in accordance with Section 58-55-108, a licensed plumber shall complete 12 hours of continuing education. (2) The commission shall establish by rule made in accordance with Title 63G, Chapter 3, Utah Administrative Rulemaking Act, continuing education for licensed plumbers. (3) The division may contract with a person to establish and maintain a registry of continuing education that includes: (a) an online application for a continuing education course provider to apply to the division for approval of the course as continuing education; (b) a list of approved continuing education courses; and (c) a list of courses that: (i) a licensed plumber completes; and (ii) the licensed plumber may access to monitor compliance with the continuing education requirement. (4) The division may charge a fee the division establishes in accordance with Section 63J-1-504, to administer the requirements of this section.
