As used in this part: (1) "Charging system" means a device that is: (a) used to provide electricity to an electric or hybrid electric vehicle; and (b) designed to ensure a safe connection between the electric grid and the vehicle. (2) "General electrical contractor" means the same as that term is defined in Section 58-55-202. (3) "Residential electrical contractor" means the same as that term is defined in Section 58-55-202.
