Utah Data Research Advisory Board -- Composition -- Appointment

(1) There is created the Utah Data Research Advisory Board.
(2) The advisory board is composed of the following members:
(a) the state superintendent of the State Board of Education or the state superintendent's
designee;
(b) the commissioner or the commissioner's designee;
(c) the executive director of the Department of Workforce Services or the executive director's
designee;

(d) the executive director of the Department of Health and Human Services or the executive
director's designee; and
(e) the executive director of the Department of Commerce or the executive director's designee.
(3) The commissioner or the commissioner's designee shall serve as chair.
(4) A member of the advisory board:
(a) except to the extent a member's service on the advisory board is related to the member's
duties outside of the advisory board, may not receive compensation or benefits for the
member's service; and
(b) may receive per diem and travel expenses in accordance with:
(i) Section 63A-3-106;
(ii) Section 63A-3-107; and
(iii) rules made by the Division of Finance under Sections 63A-3-106 and 63A-3-107.
