Utah Board of Higher Education successor to rights and duties

(1) The Utah Board of Higher Education is the successor to and is vested with all rights, duties,
obligations, and liabilities to which the Utah Board of Higher Education's predecessor governing
boards, the Utah System of Technical Colleges Board of Trustees, and the Coordinating
Council of Higher Education were subject, except as otherwise provided by law.
(2) For the Utah System of Technical Colleges Board of Trustees, the Utah Board of Higher
Education:
(a) is vested with all rights, titles, privileges, powers, obligations, liabilities, immunities,
franchises, endowments, assets, property, and claims;
(b) shall fulfill and perform all obligations, including obligations relating to outstanding bonds and
notes; and
(c) may continue an administrative rule.
