The family outreach liaison shall: (1) communicate to families about: (a) school events; (b) school priorities; (c) school-based resources and community-based resources that are available to children or families; and (d) opportunities to volunteer in the classroom and outside of the classroom at the school and school related events; and (2) communicate to families about how to: (a) read and interpret their children's report card and other data generated by the school; (b) navigate school web-based platforms; (c) reach out to teachers and other school staff to advocate for their child; and (d) support the child's learning at home.
