(1) There is created within state government the School and Institutional Trust Fund Office. (2) The office is an independent state agency within the executive branch and is not a division of any other executive branch department. (3) The office shall manage the trust fund. (4) No later than September 1 of each year, the office shall provide to the Division of Finance financial information for the prior fiscal year that the Division of Finance requests for financial reporting purposes.
