Identification card required if offender does not have driver license

(1)
(a) An individual who does not hold a current driver license in compliance with Section 53-3-205
and is required to register as a sex offender, kidnap offender, or child abuse offender in
accordance with Title 53, Chapter 29, Sex, Kidnap, and Child Abuse Offender Registry, shall
obtain an identification card.
(b) The individual shall maintain a current identification card during the time the individual is
required to register as a sex offender, kidnap offender, or child abuse offender and the
individual does not hold a valid driver license.
(2) Failure to maintain a current identification card as required under Subsection (1) is a class A
misdemeanor for each month of violation of Subsection (1).
