Utah Code § 53-2d-108

Emergency Medical Services System Account

(1) There is created within the General Fund a restricted account known as the Emergency
Medical Services System Account.
(2) The account consists of:
(a) interest earned on the account;
(b) appropriations made by the Legislature; and
(c) contributions deposited into the account in accordance with Section 41-1a-230.7.
(3) The bureau shall use:
(a) an amount equal to 25% of the money in the account for administrative costs related to this
chapter;
(b) an amount equal to 75% of the money in the account for grants awarded in accordance with
Subsection 53-2d-207(3); and
(c) all money received from the revenue source in Subsection (2)(c) for grants awarded in
accordance with Subsection 53-2d-207(3).
