Disability benefit -- Exclusions

A monthly disability benefit is not payable for a total disability proximately caused by:
(1) self-inflicted injury;
(2) abuse or misuse of any substance, including alcohol;
(3) illicit drug use;
(4) an act of aggression committed by the eligible employee; or
(5) the eligible employee's commission or attempted commission of a felony or other illegal act.
