DUI reporting system requirements

(1) As used in this section, "electronic DUI reporting system" means a software platform or
electronic form used by a law enforcement agency to generate, submit, or store reports related
to an investigation or arrest for driving under the influence under this part.
(2) A vendor that provides an electronic DUI reporting system to a law enforcement agency shall
ensure that the electronic DUI reporting system is capable of being updated to conform with
statutory changes affecting offenses under this part.
(3) A vendor described in Subsection (2) shall implement any update or change required to
conform with a statutory change no later than the effective date of the statutory change.
