(1) Except as otherwise provided in this section, a self-balancing electric skateboard is subject to the provisions under this chapter for a bicycle. (2) For a person operating a self-balancing electric skateboard, the following provisions do not apply: (a) any reference to seating positions and handle bar usage, including under Sections
