Newly identified cannabinoid

(1) For a newly identified cannabinoid, the department may:
(a) establish a maximum allowable concentration that a cannabinoid product may contain of the
newly identified cannabinoid;
(b) prohibit the newly identified cannabinoid from appearing in a cannabinoid product; or
(c) modify the maximum allowable concentration described in Subsection (1)(a) as necessary if it
would not create a threat to public health.
(2) In accordance with Title 63G, Chapter 3, Utah Administrative Rulemaking Act, the department
shall make rules to implement Subsection (1).
