38-8-6. Renewal. (1)An owner may modify the terms of a rental agreement upon giving notice in writing to the occupant: (a)by first-class mail to the occupant's last known address; or (b)by email to the occupant's last known email address. (2)An owner shall send written notice to modify the terms of the rental agreement at least 30 days before the day on which the modified terms take effect. (3)The occupant is bound by the terms of the modified rental agreement if the occupant continues to store personal property at the self-service storage facility beginning on the date the modified rental agreement takes effect if the owner complies with Subsection (1)(a) or (b).
