As used in this part: (1) "Director" means the director of the Refugee Services Office. (2) "Office" means the Refugee Services Office created in Section 35A-3-802. (3) "Refugee" means a person who is lawfully present in the United States and who meets the definition of a refugee under the Immigration and Nationality Act, 8 U.S.C. Sec. 1101(a)(42), and related federal regulations.
