Rules for sale of drugs, cosmetics, and medical devices

(1) The department shall make rules, in accordance with Title 63G, Chapter 3, Utah Administrative
Rulemaking Act, and enforce the rules for the sale or distribution of human drugs, cosmetics,
and medical devices.
(2) Food intended for human consumption that intentionally contains a vaccine or vaccine material
is considered a human drug for purposes of this section as provided in Section 4-5-107.
(3) The rules adopted under this section shall be no more stringent than those established by
federal law.
