(1) A petition for an order authorizing sterilization may be filed by a person who desires sterilization, or by the person's parent, spouse, guardian, custodian, or other interested party. (2) The court shall adjudicate the petition for sterilization in accordance with Section 26B-6-812. Renumbered and Amended by Chapter 308, 2023 General Session
