Utah Code § 26B-4-709

Powers of UMEC

The UMEC may:
(1) appoint advisory committees of broad representation on interdisciplinary clinical education,
workforce mix planning and projections, funding mechanisms, and other topics as is necessary;
(2) use federal money for necessary administrative expenses to carry out UMEC's duties and
powers as permitted by federal law;
(3) distribute program money in accordance with Subsection 26B-4-708(4); and
(4) as is necessary to carry out UMEC's duties under Section 26B-4-708, adopt rules in
accordance with Title 63G, Chapter 3, Utah Administrative Rulemaking Act.
