Denial or revocation of guardian card or caregiver card

The department may deny or revoke a medical cannabis guardian card or a medical cannabis
caregiver card if the applicant or cardholder:
(1) violates the requirements of this chapter; or
(2) unless the individual completes any imposed sentence two or more years before the day on
which the individual submits the application, has been convicted of any of the following under
state or federal law:
(a) a drug distribution offense that is a felony within the preceding 10 years; or
(b) after December 3, 2018, a drug distribution offense that is a misdemeanor.
