Hospital share

(1) The hospital share is 100% of the state's net cost of Medicaid expansion, after deducting
appropriate offsets and savings as a result of implementing Medicaid expansion, including:
(a) savings from:
(i) the Medicaid program's former Primary Care Network program;
(ii) the health coverage improvement program;
(iii) the state portion of inpatient prison medical coverage;
(iv) behavioral health coverage; and
(v) county contributions to the non-federal share of Medicaid expenditures; and
(b) any funds appropriated to the Medicaid ACA Fund.
(2)
(a) The hospital share is capped at no more than $15,000,000 annually.
(b) The division shall prorate the cap specified in Subsection (2)(a) in any year in which Medicaid
expansion is not in effect for the full fiscal year.
