Exceptions -- Criminal penalty. (1) A person may not take wildlife from an airplane or any other airborne vehicle or device or any motorized terrestrial or aquatic vehicle, including snowmobiles and other recreational vehicles, except as provided by this title or in the rules made by of the Wildlife Board in accordance with Title 63G, Chapter 3, Utah Administrative Rulemaking Act. (2) A person who violates this section is subject to the penalty provided in Section 23A-5-301. (3) Notwithstanding Subsection (1), the Wildlife Board may authorize an individual validly licensed to hunt, to hunt from a vehicle under terms and conditions specified by the Wildlife Board if the individual has: (a) paraplegia; or (b) a disability that permanently confines the individual to a wheelchair or the use of crutches.
