(1) A presidential primary election shall be held under this part each year in which a presidential election will be held. (2) A registered political party that wishes to nominate a presidential candidate for the general election may participate in a presidential primary election conducted under this part. (3) The Legislature shall appropriate sufficient funds to administer each presidential primary election conducted under this part. Renumbered and Amended by Chapter 433, 2019 General Session
