Notification of political convention dates

(1) Before 5 p.m. no later than the first Monday of October of each odd-numbered year, a
registered political party shall notify the lieutenant governor of the dates of each political
convention that will be held by the registered political party the following year.
(2) If, after providing the notice described in Subsection (1), a registered political party changes the
date of a political convention, the registered political party shall notify the lieutenant governor of
the change before 5 p.m. no later than one business day after the day on which the registered
political party makes the change.
