(1) The tentative budget adopted by the board of trustees and all supporting schedules and data are public records. (2) At least seven days before adopting a final budget in a public meeting, the special district shall: (a) make the tentative budget available for public inspection at the special district's principal place of business during regular business hours; (b) except to the extent provided in Subsection (3), publish the tentative budget, as a class A notice under Section 63G-30-102, for at least seven days. (3) The notice described in this section is exempt from the physical posting requirement described in Subsection 63G-30-102(1)(c).
