(1) This chapter may not be implied to repeal or otherwise affect the authority granted to a state agency to make or administer standards for specialized buildings, as provided in: (a) Title 26B, Chapter 2, Part 1, Human Services Programs and Facilities; (b) Title 26B, Chapter 2, Part 2, Health Care Facility Licensing and Inspection; (c) Title 26B, Chapter 2, Part 4, Child Care Licensing; (d) Title 64, Chapter 13, Department of Corrections - State Prison; or (e) another statute that grants a state agency authority to make or administer other special standards. (2) If a special standard conflicts with a code, the special standard prevails. (3) This chapter does not apply to the administration of the statutes described in Subsection (1).
