(1)
(a) Beginning May 6, 2027, only a minor, or the parent of that minor, who has been harmed by a
violation of Subsection 13-76-201(2) may bring a civil action against an app store provider.
(b) Beginning May 6, 2027, only a minor, or the parent of that minor, who has been harmed by a
violation of Subsection 13-76-202(4) may bring a civil action against a developer.
(2) In an action described in Subsection (1), the court shall award a prevailing parent:
(a) the greater of:
(i) actual damages; or
(ii) $1,000 for each violation;
(b) reasonable attorney fees; and
(c) litigation costs.
