Development of standards and criteria to measure progress toward achieving

lake authority policies and objectives -- Annual report.
(1) The board shall develop standards and criteria by which to measure:
(a) the condition of Utah Lake as of 2022; and
(b) the extent to which efforts of the lake authority improve the condition of Utah Lake and
achieve the policies and objectives of Section 11-65-203.
(2) In developing the standards and criteria, the board shall consult with and consider
recommendations by:
(a) the Department of Environmental Quality;
(b) the Division of Water Quality;
(c) the Division of Forestry, Fire, and State Lands;
(d) the Division of Wildlife Resources;
(e) the Division of State Parks;
(f) the Division of Outdoor Recreation;
(g) the Division of Water Resources;
(h) the Division of Water Rights; and
(i) the Department of Agriculture and Food.
(3) Beginning in 2023, the board shall produce an annual report that explains the degree to which
efforts of the lake authority are improving the condition of Utah Lake and achieving the policies
and objectives of Section 11-65-203, in accordance with the standards and criteria developed
under this section.
